1. The Sign of the Cross<\/h2>\n

The symbolism of the Sign of the Cross, the Cross which is at the very heart of Redemption, and the profession of faith that it implies are part and parcel of the Christian patrimony.
\nThe Sign of the Cross also evokes the fullness of the mystery of the Trinity, since we make this sign \u2018in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n

2. The FIAT Prayer<\/h2>\n

Here is the text which introduces and accompanies the FIAT rosary. It directs it straight away towards the Holy Spirit so that his breath gives it life and helps us to meditate the mysteries of Jesus in our hearts.<\/p>\n

Most Holy Spirit<\/em><\/p>\n

Help us to relive, in union with Mary, the joyful, luminous, sorrowful and glorious mysteries of Jesus. Amen.<\/em><\/p>\n

Grant that we may be<\/em>
\n – inspired by the faith of our Baptism,<\/em>
\n – nourished by the Eucharist,<\/em>
\n – renewed in the grace of Pentecost.<\/em><\/p>\n

So as to live <\/em>
\n – in word and deed,<\/em>
\n – always and everywhere,<\/em>
\n – as faithful witnesses of Christ and <\/em>
\n of the love of His Divine Heart. Amen.<\/em><\/p>\n


\n<\/em>Intentions<\/h2>\n

If the FIAT rosary is said in a family or in other groups, those present should express aloud an intention corresponding to one or other of the following areas:
\n– praying for the Church;
\n– praying for the World;
\n– For all our own intentions;<\/p>\n

The Lords prayer<\/h2>\n

Our Father,
\nwho art in heaven,
\nhallowed be thy name;
\nthy kingdom come;
\nthy will be done on eart as it is in heaven.
\nGive us this day our daily bread;
\nand forgive us our trespasses
\nas we forgive those who trespass against us;
\nand lead us not into temptation,
